I was lucky to have drawn a Maine moose tag and even more lucky to have found Ron and the guys at Moose Maine. I contacted several lodges and outfitters after drawing the permit. Every person I spoke with seemed like good guys, but Ron was different. I knew quickly into our initial conversation that Ron would do everything in his power to make sure that I had the best trip possible. Most important to me was Ron asked about the type of experience I was looking for. During the hunt it was evident Ron was very familiar with the area and the moose. I was able to harvest the exact type of moose I was looking for on Thursday. We had a couple of other opportunities before that that either didn’t work out or were not what I was looking for. I am an extremely satisfied customer. Ron and I check in on each other on occasion to see how the other is doing. I have a friend in Ron and would not consider using another outfitter if I am lucky enough to draw again.
